After Yash Dhull’s superb knock, we have another centurion at the Delhi Premier League (DPL). As the only player retained by the West Delhi Lions, Ayush Doseja has repaid the faith with an incredible knock while chasing 187 against Purani Dilli 6. Losing two early wickets, Doseja needed to step up. That is exactly what he did, hammering the Purani Dilli bowlers all around the park.
Not long ago, Doseja mustered an unbeaten 84 off 48 to script the highest run-chase in DPL history. West Delhi Lions kicked off the tournament with a 209-run chase over defending champions East Delhi Riders. It was also a day game and the Nitish Rana-led side chased down brilliantly on the back of Doseja.
Three days later, Doseja has played another blinder, doing all to keep West Delhi in the fray of another win. Against Purani Dilli 6, Doseja became only the second batter to hit a century in the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025. He came to bat right after the first over and hammered his ton in 52 balls. But what was fascinating to see was that Doseja played just 12 dot balls in his stay. With the help of 10 boundaries and five sixes, he even outshone Nitish Rana.
